Brief Step-by-Step Installation Guide

Required Tools

1. Park vehicle on flat level ground, lift rear axle and fix firmly with jack stands, remove rear wheel.
2. Use spring compressor to pre-compress rear coil spring to release suspension tension.
3. Loosen and remove top flange fixing nuts and bottom axle bolt, take out the old shock absorber assembly.
4. Clean rust and dirt on suspension mounting brackets and axle contact surfaces thoroughly.
5. Install new 5N0513009H shock absorber, align top flange hole positions and bottom bushing eyelet.
6. Tighten all mounting bolts to factory specified torque value.
7. Release spring compressor slowly, reinstall rear wheel, lower vehicle fully to ground.
8. Press rear vehicle corners manually for multiple slow compression tests to check abnormal noise.
9. Conduct road test to verify normal suspension damping performance.
