Operation Steps

1. Park vehicle on flat ground, engage electronic parking brake, loosen rear wheel lug nuts slightly before jacking up the rear axle, secure the vehicle firmly with jack stands.
2. Remove rear wheel, locate the electrical plug of the old wear sensor behind the brake caliper, press the lock buckle and unplug the connector.
3. Hang the rear brake caliper with a bungee cord (do not suspend the caliper by the brake hose to avoid oil pipe damage), remove old rear brake pads.
4. Use a flat screwdriver to gently pry out the old sensor from the pad clamping groove; do not pull hard on the wire to avoid breaking the internal sensing copper wire.
5. Clean the pad mounting groove and caliper bracket with brake cleaner to remove rust, dust and residual brake powder.
6. Insert the dual sensing tips of the new 4M0615121D sensor into the reserved slots of the new inner rear brake pad, push until you hear an audible locking click to ensure the sensor fits flush against the pad back plate.
